Love this desk. Finally something wide open with plenty of legroom for range of motion and productivity. I have my work computer on it, and I still have plenty of room for fine arts projects. As a bonus, there's plenty of room underneath to fit many two drawer file cabinets you might already own. I did that with mine. It's great that the frame is wide open so there's no need for holes in the work surface for cord management. We bought a second one for my wife too. She uses two monitors on hers. Plenty of room. The only negative is that the instructions are not very good. The print is far too small and many of the tiny label stickers on the product part packaging fell off during shipping. We eventually figured it out though. I'd recommend the manufacturer put the label sticker directly on the parts instead of the bags and make all the labels considerably bigger. It would definitely not hurt to enlarge the illustrations in the instructions quite a bit too."How can we save the fraction of a cent" must have been the key idea when creating this product.Unboxing: I comes in a cardboard box. Every piece is in a separate bag and held in position by some nice Styrofoam (which will be re-purposed to model landscape by a friend).Caveat Empor: before pulling the bars out of their bags, please note there are numbers on some bags to identify the pieces. However, the second, identical bar does not have that sticker. I would recommend to sort them before starting the assembly.Assembly: Once all pieces are laid out, the process is quite obvious. To avoid any mistake, there is a printed manual: three stapled pages, with only one relevant for me. Just watch the orientation a little bit, the pieces are not symmetrical.Threads and heads are metric, everything else would have been a surpriseAnd you do not expect those wheels to be wheels, right? (I guess I will crank up my table saw and make some pieces to convert that into a monitor stand to be used on the desk, not under it)Conclusion: while the desk surface is quite nicely textured, I am also concerned about it. I will not dare and stress it with pushing a mouse over it but use a mouse pad. The entire construction is surprisingly high. When buying, I was making plans on how to get it a little bit higher to be even with my existing desk. Those thoughts are void and abandoned. The working space could be a little bit bigger; another inch or two in each direction would really help. However, there are quality issues. Nothing overly serious, but it yells "cheap" in your face: The frame is spot welded, where it should have a seam weld. The coating covers some of the interior threads, and the frame material is exactly as thin as it has to be to not to break during assembly, holes are punched where they should have been drilled, and finally, some threads are just missing. My overall rating reflects mostly the quality. At US-$75, the price/value ratio certainly would be a solid 4 Stars rating. Don't forget: You always get what you pay for, except when you overpay. So, these are my thoughts. Please make your own decision.I ordered the millennium oak but when the package arrived it was a black base with a medium dark wood-look top. The color was not a big deal so we put it together which was really simple. The only issue we ran into was the pre-drilled holes to attach the top did not line up perfectly so there are little gaps on both sides of the center piece where the tops should fit together snugly. This bothers me just a bit so I will try to fix it when I get a chance.Boyfriend and I got two of these desks for our office and they're working well. One of the desks was sent with a beam that didn't have the screw holes necessary and when I contacted the seller and sent a picture of the bar I got that was missing the holes it needed they sent a replacement. I wish it had just been sent with all the correct parts but I'm pleased with the response to my problem.Able to set the desk up with multiple monitors and keep pc off the floor. Easy to add any changes when needed and can sit comfortably under the desk.Cons: very complicated to set up :(Pros: super fast shipping, great customer service. The desk is very big and sturdy. I got the black wood and it goes well with my decor.I am pleased with my purchase. Can hold 4 monitors and a laptop. And the height is good and can be adjusted if you want the desk to be higher. Thanks guys!Assembly was east but time consuming. Seems sturdy although was missing one small support piece from the box. Looks exactly like the picture. There is an added small piece of wood and four black plastic feet (they dont look like feet)....not sure what the purpose is but I made a 2" computer riser. :) VERY HAPPY with my purchase.Needed a new setup for our shared office space in a 10x11 spare bedroom. We are both tall good leg room and it didn't take long to assemble. Still have room for a recliner to watch TV.
